Merging translations to dev.exiv2.org trunk repository

Asked by Alan Pater

I recently joined the exiv2 team. At the moment I am fixing up the translations and discovered all the fine translation work people have been doing here on launchpad. *

I have imported some of that work into the exiv2 repo** but would like to automate the process going forward. What are the steps to do that?

Launchpad can automatically update translations if your project's code is hosted on Launchpad, but with external hosting you have to do it yourself. https://help.launchpad.net/Translations/YourProject/Exports provides some suggestions.

"Launchpad can produce a regular snapshot of your translations and commit it to a Launchpad-hosted Bazaar branch of your choice. Using this export method, you can always find a reasonably fresh export of your translations in the same place, and download it automatically, without any asynchronous requests. "

How do we do that? Automatically download launchpad translations to the exivw svn repo?
