Request to register a new distribution

Hi, I would like to register the Bayanihan Linux Project in the list of distributions. The project was started on October 2001 by the Advanced Science and Technology Institute of the Department of Science and Technology here in the Philippines as an alternative general purpose desktop solution for use in schools, SMEs and government agencies. We are now at our fourth version codenamed Bantayog which was released last year and in the process of developing the next release scheduled for this year. In line with our commitment to promote the use of free and open source software in the Philippines, we would like to request for registration in your list of distributions. A project has also been created at http://launchpad.net/bayanihan and our website is at http://bayanihan.gov.ph.

Hi Christian,

Thank you so much for answering :)

I've read the FAQ and I'd like to go ahead and register the Bayanihan Linux project as a distribution. For now, we can get by without the Code and Translations applications but hope the product release registration feature may be available in the future.

We'll also register several other projects related to our distro that will be releasing source tarballs and make use of revision control and these definitely do not need to be registered as a distribution but rather be simply associated with the Bayanihan Linux project.

  - A name for the distribution
  - A team to hold its members

Once you have provided that information, I'll register it and reassign it to you.

Name of Distribution: Bayanihan GNU/Linux
Team: Bayanihan Core Developers

I registered a team at https://launchpad.net/~bayanihan-core although I'm not sure if this is what you meant. For now, the list includes just me but the rest of the team will start registering personal launchpad accounts as soon as I've gotten this set up. Thanks again.
