It's not possible to switch an import from Subversion to Git, as the repositories are completely unrelated from a VCS sense. You'll need to register new imports, then switch the lp:PROJECT aliases using the edit link next to it on the projects' home pages.

I started changing them before I noticed that the old URLs were to Subversion repositories, but I've switched them back. Once you've created the new repositories and switched the aliases over, let me know here and I'll mark all the old imports as invalid.

Thank you very much for your answer. I finally managed to get past the code hosting setting, assigning the alias lp:PROJECT to the new imports from github.
I'm facing an issue, though: the packaging branches (hosted only on launchpad) are now unrelated to the new imported branch.
The only dumb solution I found is to bzr merge -r0..-1 lp:PROJECT and solve the conflicts.
Any smarter suggestion?

Thanks!
