How to build launchpad ppa to build deb for ppc64le arch

Hi,

i am trying to build abd publish a package with changes for ppc64le (IBM's Power8 processor). Can you help me understand the launchpad PPA process for this? I do not see ppc64le listed there along with amd64.

I'm afraid we don't offer this facility yet in general, because we don't yet have safely virtualised build environments set up for ppc64el. (Some PPAs can build for ppc64el, but those archives must only be writeable by Canonical employees, because their builds aren't virtualised and could compromise Ubuntu.) There are plans in progress to add ppc64el virtualisation to our build farm, at which point we'll be able to offer this.

In the meantime, if you already have an engineering contact in Canonical, you can ask them to build packages for you.
