One package stuck in pending publication state for hours ?

Asked by Michael Sparks

I've got several packages building in my PPA, most are building cleanly and publishing fine. However, one of them is stuck in 'Pending publication'.

The package in question is rfidtag at https://launchpad.net/~sparkslabs/+archive/ubuntu/packages

Timeline:

Upload version 0.2.3, try to build. Build fails
Upload version 0.2.4, try to build. Build succeeds. (So I try deleting 0.2.3)
0.2.4 gets Stuck in "pending publication" for a few hours, so I give it a while longer.
In case a new would unplug things, I bumped the revision to 0.2.5 with a new version. Build succeeds. That's now been stuck in pending publication for over two hours.

I've looked through launchpad questions, and checked

https://launchpad.net/~sparkslabs/+archive/ubuntu/packages/+edit

And that's showing both "enabled" and "publish" as ticked.

Not sure if it's my fault, launchpad's or something else.

Hi,
This appears resolved now. I guess the deletion thing prevented publication and that's now sorted. If anyone did anything, thanks!

A hardware fault delayed PPA publication for a few hours. It's all caught up again now.

Cool - was concerned it was something I'd done. (Only just started using Launchpad!) Many thanks for the feedback!

I'm seeing this same behavior; not sure whether it's related, but I did also just delete a package. https://launchpad.net/~retorquere/+archive/ubuntu/zotero/+packages still shows "successfully built but not published"

@retorquere, in general, if you currently have a problem then please open a new question rather than tagging onto the end of an existing one. (However, the URL you posted currently shows everything fully published.)
