A new OAuth token consumer was enabled in Launchpad.

Asked by snurfle

Just got an email that instructed me to open a new question here.

So here is my new question.

I just got an email that told me to open a new question here. Is this just another bug in Ubuntu, or is there an actual reason why I need to open a new question?

Here's the email I got:

A new OAuth token consumer was enabled in Launchpad.

Ummmm... you sent me an email telling me open a question, then closed the question because of inactivity. You never told me what to do with the question or even what it meant. Am I missing something here?

On 2015-02-13 you, or someone with your Launchpad credentials, ran an application on a host named "greg-ThinkPad-W530" which prompted you to authorise it to access your Launchpad account. For example, some of Ubuntu's bug utilities (eg. ubuntu-bug and apport-collect) can use Launchpad's API to automatically update or file bugs. If you used such a tool, the email is nothing to worry about.

Can you help with this problem?
