how can I build for arm64, armhf, powerpc and ppc64el for my ppa?

Asked by Qichang Liang

my package:

https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cryptote/0.5.390-0ubuntu1

is already accepted by ubuntu, but it failed to build for:

 arm64, armhf, powerpc and ppc64el

Then I fixed debian/rules clean process and uploaded the fix at:

https://launchpad.net/~kcleung-users/+archive/ubuntu/cryptote/+sourcepub/4697049/+listing-archive-extra

But only amd64 and x86 are built. How can I check whether my package can build for arm64, armhf, powerpc and ppc64el, before I request my sponsor to upload the updated package to ubuntu proper?

I can enable qemu-user emulation for armhf and arm64, but powerpc and ppc64el PPAs aren't currently available for Launchpad users who are not also Canonical employees. We'll be removing this restriction later this year when the security concerns are resolved.

Do you want ARM builds enabled on your PPA?

That would be great. At least I can verify that my code can compile in armhf and arm64

Thanks!
