How to get started with bug fixing?

Hey everyone, I am pretty new to Launchpad and I want to know how to get started with the process of fixing bugs. I have a project cloned. I don't know who to contact and how to commit/submit my changes. Please help? Thanks in advance.

Try some of the other hits for that query, the first 5 or more are all relevant and useful reading.
