Curl unable to resolve dl.google.com

Asked by Mitesh Shah

Issue URL: https://launchpadlibrarian.net/183196729/buildlog_ubuntu-precise-i386.nginx_1.6.1-25ppa~precise_FAILEDTOBUILD.txt.gz

As launchpad give us only 2GB for package building/storage space.
So we are tried to download heavy packaged at the time of package building and not include in modules.

But its seems like launchpad has not allowed to access dl.google.com

curl https://dl.google.com/dl/page-speed/psol/1.8.31.4.tar.gz | tar xz
curl: (6) Couldn't resolve host 'dl.google.com'

gzip: stdin: unexpected end of file
tar: Child returned status 1
tar: Error is not recoverable: exiting now
make: *** [config.env.full] Error 2
dpkg-buildpackage: error: debian/rules build gave error exit status 2

Launchpad builders cannot access the Internet; you need to include all the dependencies in your PPA.

If you have a good reason to need more space, we can increase your PPA's quota.

I'm only worried about disk space as we are try to build nginx-pagespeed module and its required psol.tar.gz which is nearly 100+MB so after 20-25 release we are running out of space.

Can you give us guide how can we request to increase disk space in future.

Thank you

Old packages are removed a couple of days after the new version is uploaded, so that shouldn't be an issue.

Can you help with this problem?
