Patches in source not appearing in PPA

Hi. Basically, I want to have a patched wine PPA. I have a diff file, then I am trying to apply to the wine source and upload to here. I am getting the source with the ubuntu team ppa installed and apt-get source wine1.7 Then, I'm adding the patch with quilt import and adding the entry to the changeloge. Finally, I build with debuild -S -sa and upload the source with dput. The debs on the PPA do not include my patch. Why is this?
