IPython project already exists on launchpad?!?

Asked by Brian Granger on 2008-02-10

Hi,

I am one of the core developers of the IPython project (ipython.scipy.org). We want to create an ipython launchpad project, but when I tried to do this, launchpad said that it already has an ipython project registered. This existing project is here:

https://launchpad.net/ipython

This project looks like it has never been used and it is not clear who we should contact to begin using the project. It seems silly and confusing for us to create another ipython launchpad project. We (the ipython devs) would like to become admins for this project. Is that possible?

Thanks

Brian
