Would the permissions be incorrect for LP#1261040?

Asked by penalvch

Hello. While working with the original reporter of https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libreoffice/+bug/1260957 it was advised a new bug report was created LP#1261040. However, despite my being a member of Ubuntu Bug Control, I'm not able to review the new bug report for triaging, and potential upstreaming to LibreOffice.

Would this be a permissions error?

Thank you for your time and consideration in this matter, and I look forward to your response.

Only the apport robot can initially see Ubuntu's crashes. Once it examines and usually sanitises the bug, it is opened up to bugcontrol and co.

William Grant, thank you for your quick response. As far back as I can recall (~2010) I've always been able to see pre-apport examined reports as a member of Ubuntu Bug Control. Would this be a recent permissions change?

No, that has never been the case. Since 2006, newly reported crashes
have always been looked at by apport first, with the crash triagers
teams subscribed later.
