How to enable downloadable changelogs

Asked by Hamish McIntyre-Bhatty

For some unknown reason, my PPA doesn't appear to have downloadable changelogs enabled (do I have to manually enable this somewhere?). This isn't a major issue, but it'd be quite helpful for me to get it working. The PPA is located at: https://launchpad.net/~hamishmb/+archive/myppa if anyone wants to have a look (in case it's helpful knowing which PPA it is).

Thanks,
Hamish

PPAs don't currently publish changelogs separately, so update-manager and 'apt-get changelog' will refuse to display them for PPA packages.

Okay, but then do you know why apt-get changelog even exists? Perhaps debian supports this? Still, thanks anyway, I'm glad it's not a probem with my PPA.

apt-get changelog works fine for official Ubuntu packages, just not PPAs.
