Will launchpad be able to handle java translations using .properties files ?

Java i18n uses .properties files for translations. They are very similar in format with .po and .pot files gettext is using. Is it possible to add this file type to launchpad translations ? ( to add the functionality I mean... )

Hi Pietry,

I've linked this question to the corresponding bug report. When the bug is fixed, you'll be notified.

Until then, Carlos Perello, one of the Translations developer suggests:
"..., you can use gettext's tools to get a .po file and convert back a .po file with translations from Rosetta to .properties"
