Set team as project maintainer

Asked by Martin Mágr

For some reason I am unable to set packstack-core team as maintainer of packstack project. Is there any other way to do it besides project preview page (https://launchpad.net/packstack), because I got 'No items matched "packstack-core".' when I enter it there?

Thanks for the answer, for packstack-core team I get following error message:

"You must choose a valid person or team to be the owner for Packstack."

So what's wrong with the team?

Ah, missed that detail on the team page: ~packstack-core's membership policy is set to Delegated. A Delegated team can have members that are Open, meaning that anyone can join them without approval from a team administrator; this would leave a project open to hijacking by anyone with a Launchpad account, so Open and Delegated teams are forbidden from owning projects.

You'll need to change the membership policy on https://launchpad.net/~packstack-core/+edit to Moderated or Restricted instead. I'm not quite sure why it's set to Delegated in the first place; since none of its present members are teams, it is effectively Moderated.
