Request for ARM builds on ppa:george-edison55/nitroshare-dev

Asked by Nathan Osman

I'd like to request ARM builds for my PPA, ppa:george-edison55/nitroshare-dev. However, I am slightly confused by the guidelines posted here[1]. It states that:

> "You may request an ARM build on your PPA if
> - Your build takes 4hrs or less to build
> - You have less than 10 builds a week."

I have only a single package in the PPA that is built by a daily recipe. However, it is built for Precise, Quantal, and Raring. So if the term "build" refers to individual builds for each series, then 3*7=21 potential builds per week. However, if the term "build" refers to all series as a whole, then it falls well within the guidelines.

The builds usually take about 5 or 6 minutes so they fall well within the first guideline.

(Note that the PPA also contains Qt5 for Precise and Quantal - these were copied directly from the Qt5 proper PPA and exist solely to satisfy the 'build-depends' of the package.)

Do you still need this enabled or on a separate PPA as discussed on IRC

I'll create a separate PPA and open a new question when it's ready.
