Hm, I tried to update the details and the import failed. Would it be a problem if I deleted the old import and created a new one? Bazaar would see this as a totally separate branch, so if you've made branches from the existing import this wouldn't be such a good option.

well, having an updated import is way better than an outdated one, so, yes, please reimport it.
