Arm build for Open Source Conditional Access Module software (OSCam) server

Asked by Crypto2009

Hello,

is it possible to build the recipe https://code.launchpad.net/~oscam/+recipe/oscam-daily as an armel architecture? Many people are using it with an NAS (armel).

Thank you very much for your help!

Cheers,

Thomas

Hi,

sorry, I read the arm build policy to late. So I created an extra recipe for the NAS/arm/lucid build: https://code.launchpad.net/~oscam/+recipe/oscam-daily-lucid

In this case the recipe fulfill the police:
- The build takes 4hrs or less
- We have now less than 10 builds a week for this recipe

Cheers,

Thomas

It's not the recipe that gets built it's the actual ppa, can you still remain under the restrictions, 4hrs and 10 builds a week ?

Hi Laura,

thank you very much for your help. The 4 hrs are realistic, but we have daily builds for raring and quantal. In other words, if the developer are working hard, we could have ḿore than 10 builds a week. I could register a new ppa where I build only the raring version, but this would be really crazy.

Hi, it really is a strict policy, 4hrs or less and 10 builds only a week if you cannot agree to that we cannot enable it for you, if you go over that we will revoke the ARM builds.

Hi,

then we have to wait for a less strict policy of launchpad and the people have to compile it by hand (as they are doing it at the moment). However, thank you very much for your help.

The policy may be reviewed at a later stage, but it has worked well for many other groups who have stayed within the policy.

Can you help with this problem?
