reset passphrase and decrypt (trying to sign the code of conduct)

Asked by Nicolás

Hi everyone, I am about to sign the ubuntu code of conduct, I ve already uploaded my key, and following the instructions an encrypted message came into my mail, when I was trying to decrypt it asks for my pass phrase, which I remember well, but it seems to be wrong...... Don't know what's the problem, should I reset my pass phrase??? if I do how is this done?
after that i believe the decryption might be an easy task, but if someone wants to give me a hint I would be glad.
thanks so much
nicolás

It's not possible to reset the passphrase of an OpenPGP key -- to enable that would defeat the entire point of having a passphrase. You'll have to generate a new key and add it to your Launchpad account at https://launchpad.net/~/+editpgpkeys.
