Launchpad itself

Error on key import - something went wrong OOPS-

 I've entered the key according to this:
https://launchpad.net/+help-registry/import-pgp-key.html
Which I did, then I get an error page with "something went wrong". Lovely:

I've done this twice now with two different keys, one of which should match my username and email for launchpad.

Which bug? The original is 1102609, and is marked as a duplicate of 1100977, which has a new status.

Can you please point to the bug that was closed?

The only bug that is open right now is - https://bugs.launchpad.net/launchpad/+bug/1100977 and is the one being looked at . The other one was marked invalid and a duplicate.

The answer to this question is that the key must be in the keyserver at hkp://keyserver.ubuntu.com

And the correct sequence of events when adding a new PPA are as follows:
1) Add your key to hkp://keyserver.ubuntu.com
2) Import your key to launchpad
https://launchpad.net/+help-registry/import-pgp-key.html
https://help.launchpad.net/YourAccount/ImportingYourPGPKey
3) Use dput to upload the code.

1) Add your key to keyserver.ubuntu.com:

gpg --send-keys --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com KEYID
