Countries where Pushto/Pashto is spoken

Asked by khalid

In the Countries section of overview page of Pushto/Pashto translation team it is said that "Pushto is not registered as being spoken in any country" while Pushto/Pashto is the Official language of Afghanistan and is also spoken in Pakistan (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pashto). There are 40 - 60 million Pustho/Pashto speakers around the world. I wish this gets changed.

Thank you for doing that. Can some one please check the spelling of
Pushto to Pashto. Pashto is mostly used name and the right spelling and
it is also now changed in the ISO language code list also.
There is no member for this team at the moment. I am the Pashto
Translation Team coordinator in GTP and have been doing the translation
work for Pashto (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Gnome_Translation_Project). Can
anyone do something for giving the responsibility of the team to me?

I've changed the name for the language.

Which team is it exactly that you want to take ownership of? I don't see any Pashto translation team in the GTP translation group on Launchpad. Do you have a link to the Launchpad team you mean?

Note: I changed the language name, not a team's name!

As for the team: if the team you want does not exist on Launchpad yet, you can contact the translation group's owner and create one. Be sure to read the FAQ first: https://help.launchpad.net/FAQ/Translations

Can you help with this problem?

Provide an answer of your own, or ask khalid for more information if necessary.
