Sagemath PPA needs more space

Asked by Jan Groenewald

I maintain a PPA for, a free and open source piece of software.
It consists of a large python source tree including many free packages, a ~400M size
package and unpacking to over a Gigabyte and a half.

( Due to the versioning difficulties of debianizing it compared to repackaging an upstream
"binary" (which is itself a source tree, containing all source) this is currently the easiest install
for end users of Ubuntu. Past attempts have been documented and later removed from debian due
to the multi-year lag from the project's upstream, now new attempts are underway,
but is still a multi-year project. In the meantime this PPA fills an important gap in Free Software for
Science and Education. )

It is currently 95% full, only with the 32bt and 64bit packages and some related packages.
I would like to add packages for quantal, and in fact for all currently supported Ubuntu releases
from 12.04 going forward. It seems this is around 2G per architecture per release.

Could I have another 8G to cover quantal and raring please?

hi I've increased the ppa size, we had a bug open for the last week or so with ppas running out of space, this has now been fixed and should also help in your issue.

Can you help with this problem?
