PPA needs more cleanup, please.

Asked by Michael B. Trausch

Hello.

Yesterday I asked for some packages to be removed from my PPA, however, the files for those packages are still lingering in the archive. Will they be reaped at some point automatically?

Also, I need some more things removed, for various reasons; mostly because they have been superceded by work done here in Ubuntu or elsewhere:

coreutils - was going after the wrong package. Whoops.
 pidgin-festival - superceded elsewhere.
 ufiformat - superceded by Hardy.

Thanks a bunch. Also, any idea when the ability for users to remove their own packages will be available? Even if it were running a script or something, it would be nice to be able to do so without having to ask someone to do it for me---I do dislike being a burden on someone else.

I'm sorry this took so long to complete...

I've marked those packages for deletion and they will be removed in the next publishing cycle (daily).

You can expect to be able to delete packages yourself with the next release (1.2.1).

Thanks, Tom
