[withdrawn] misplaced question

Asked by Reinhold Pschierer

I hibernated my Asus k720D laptop, Ubuntu 12.04 with "sudo pm-hibernate"
when powering on again not even the boot menu appeared, not even booting from CD worked.
I had to remove the battery and disconnect the power supply cable in order to get the laptop working again. Doing so it resumed absolute correct to the hibernated session.
