import from svn: What does "partial success" mean?

Asked by Bernd Kreuss

regarding this branch: https://code.launchpad.net/~prof7bit/fpc26x/fixes_2_6

The import seems very slow and network disconnects often but yesterday it ran on the "galapagos" server which seems to be 10 times faster than all the others and succeeded:

http://launchpadlibrarian.net/118413383/prof7bit-fpc26x-fixes_2_6.log

The log looks like everything was ok but on the branch details website it has a grey checkmark instead of green and it says "partial success" and at the bottom it says "This branch has not been imported yet.". I have seen one other question here mentioning this but it did not contain a clear answer (at least not clear to me) what this actually means.

Edit:
I also notice that when in the log it says something like for example:
"fetching svn revision info 10556/37170"
then gets interrupted due to network error or timeout and the next time on the same machine gets started again the second number is smaller by exactly as many revision infos it has already fetched in a previous run. So there seems to be some kind of cache (unfortunately a separate cache for each import machine) Can this cache become corrupted somehow, might this the reason it get stuck after having fetched them all, should it have fetched them all in one go for the import to succeed? And does this cache expire after some time?

Partial success means that LP imports chunks at a time rather than all in one go, and it keeps fetching in chunks till it gets a full success so it appears as a partial success till it is all done

Can you help with this problem?
