Deleted suggestions of translations

When I translate some sentence I would like to leave old suggestions in database.
If I (or someone else) will back someday to this sentence It would be easier to choose better translation.
I think when I started to work with launchpad it was like I wrote here. Maybe now something has been changed?
I just want to keep old suggestions. How to do it?
