Automated import from github repository not working

Asked by Peli

I've set up automated import from a github repository into Launchpad:
https://code.launchpad.net/~openintents-devs/openintents/trunk

Import seems to take place every hour, but the last changes imported were from May 19, 2012. More recent changes from May 27 and August 7, 2012 seem not to be imported properly.

The log files seem to indicate that new modifications are detected somehow:
"finding revisions to fetch:generating index 0/231"
The last number jumped from 226 in previous logs to 231 after committing to github today.

However, this commit does not show up in Launchpad.

What could possibly be wrong? Why don't I see the latest changes from github at Launchpad? Is there any setting I have to change?

(Also, I'm missing an "import now" button that exists for import from a subversion repository: https://code.launchpad.net/~openintents-devs/openintents/trunk_old
I don't know if these problems are related somehow?)

I've updated the URL of the import to use the native Git protocol, which is known to work better.

This should fix the import; please let us know if it keeps failing.

Can you help with this problem?
