User Spamming/Vandalizing -> https://launchpad.net/~mario-subia-deactivatedaccount

Asked by Christopher M. Penalver on 2012-08-03

User https://launchpad.net/~mario-subia-deactivatedaccount is spamming/vandalizing https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/896575 .

I have advised the user as per Ubuntu Bug Control, Ubuntu Bug Squad, and Ubuntu Community policies they should not be toggling tags, but they continue to do so. Please disable the account.

Thank you for your understanding.

I think they're the same person. ~kiko53s (Mario Kiko Subia) is replying by email, but probably doesn't know how to use it to add tags. So he logs into the web UI, but as a duplicate account ~mario-subia-deactivatedaccount (kiko53s).

William Grant, thank you for addressing this so quickly!

You are correct as per our below forwarded E-Mail exchange.

Could you help him remove his duplicate account as he intended?

Excellent, glad this is getting sorted out. He can merge the two
accounts at <https://launchpad.net/people/+requestmerge>.

Thanks William Grant, that solved my question.

William Grant, updated the Launchpad wiki article with the merge info -> https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Launchpad . :)
