Associate Launchpad ID juancnuno with email <email address hidden>

Can a Launchpad administrator associate Launchpad ID juancnuno with email <email address hidden>? https://launchpad.net/people/+me/+edit doesn't work because it says that "juancnuno is already in use by another person or team." I'm pretty sure that other person is me. But I can't for the life of me reclaim that ID. Logging in with an older email doesn't seem to work.

You can see the placeholder account that's blocking the rename at <https://launchpad.net/~juancnuno>. Click "Are you Juancnuno?" and follow the instructions to merge the placeholder into your real account, which will free up the name, letting you perform the rename that you desire.

When I clicked the continue button from the Merge Launchpad accounts page, I got an error

Ah, you've run into bug #1019975. But you wouldn't have been able to perform the merge anyway, since the email address on that account (fastmail) no longer exists.

WebOps, can you please follow the workaround instructions that I just added to the bug, marking ~juancnuno as active and merging ~juancnuno into ~juancnuno2? I've verified that the fastmail.net address on ~juancnuno appears to have been owned by Juan in the past.

I was able to use https://launchpad.net/people/+me/+edit to reclaim juancnuno. Thanks a lot!
