New owner of project

The project page of Ubuntu Christian Edition shown here, https://launchpad.net/ubuntuchristianedition is owned by an individual that no one has heard from in many months. I have email multiple times the owner shown, https://launchpad.net/~bromichaelhenry on page with no response. So has other members of the team. I am current lead developer and wanted to take ownership of this page. There is no code, packages or ppa related to this page. It was created but nothing added to it. I would like to take ownership so we can start planning to utilize resources. Is it possible for me to be granted ownership or can that page be deleted so i can start a new project page?

I've contacted the owner of the project, waiting to hear back from them before a change is made.

We have made you the maintainer of the project. We recommend that you create a team of people that you can set as the maintainer so that there is always someone who can fulfil the role.
