launchpad API: getDownloadCount: no current data

Asked by Dominique Lasserre

Hi,

since a few days (approx. May 20th) download counts of binary packages in PPAs are not up to date.

Is this a bug or have I missed something?

Example test (ppa:apt-fast/stable) (and yes there are more than 0 downloads):

#!/usr/bin/python
import sys
from launchpadlib.launchpad import Launchpad
cachedir = '~/.launchpadlib/cache/'
lp_ = Launchpad.login_anonymously('ppastats', 'edge', cachedir, version='devel')
ppa = lp_.people['apt-fast'].getPPAByName(name='stable')
for binary in ppa.getPublishedBinaries(status='Published',distro_arch_series='https://api.launchpad.net/devel/ubuntu/precise/amd64'):
  print binary.binary_package_name + ': ' + str(binary.getDownloadCount())
