Cannot Login into Launchpad account

Asked by tbds

My account is "ncfiedler", but when I log in with my emailadress "<email address hidden>" I am logged into the account "ncfiedler-m".
On the account profile website for the account "ncfiedler" I can read that the emailadress, that is associated with the account "ncfiedler" seems to be "<email address hidden>". But when I use the forgot-password-option in launchpad with the emailadress "<email address hidden>", I just get an email with the attached content.

---> So how can I find out, which emaildress IS associated with my account "ncfiedler"?

Or if no one is able to find out: Is it possible to merge both accounts "ncfiedler" and "ncfiedler-m" into the account "ncfiedler" and then associate the emailadress "<email address hidden>" with that?

Kind regards,
Nils-Christoph Fiedler

You need to merge your two launchpad profiles. login.launchpad.net is not launchpad; it is Ubuntu's SSO and it has a different record of email address from Launchpad.

The addresses *in* launchpad are as you believe: ~ncfiedler is you fedora address and ~ncfiedler-m is your gnome address. We can ask an admin to merge ~ncfiedler-m into ~ncfiedler to so that ~ncfiedler has the identity information used by SSO. Do you want to merge the identities?

Well, a merge would be Great! In The end i would like to log in with my Gnome Adress into the ncfiedler Account (Not ncfiedler-m as it is now)., so that i am able to manage the translation groups i am coordinating under the ncfiedler Account. So i guess a merge from ncfiedler-m into ncfiedler would be nice. But please keep in mind, that i am Not able to Log in into the ncfiedler Account now, because i do Not know the sso Mail Adress that is associated with the current ncfiedler Account. Thanks!

I've merged ncfiedler-m into ncfiedler, should be effective in a few mins.
Also checked at SSO to be mapped to <email address hidden>.
