The code import source for https://edge.launchpad.net/quantlib/trunk is https://quantlib.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/quantlib/trunk.

On inspection (http://quantlib.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/quantlib/trunk/), it appears this location contains various seemingly independent trees. Notably, it includes:
 * "gensrc", which appears to be a distinct subproject
 * "QuantLib-site", which appears to be the website
 * Other subprojects.

Examining the download files section for Quantlib http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=12740 suggests that those various subprojects are packaged independently.

In Launchpad, such subprojects are normally modelled as distinct "Projects" (they could be called, quantlib-objecthandler, libquantlib, quantlib-docs, etc.), and grouped into a "Project Group" that administrators can create for you on request.

Using separate projects make it easier to correctly use other features such as translations, and to correctly associate individual source packages in distributions (such as Ubuntu) to their upstream.

As a rule of thumb, we run Bazaar imports for source trees that correspond to individual release tarballs. If you are sure that the quantlib is best modelled by a single project and code import, we will happily enable this code import.

Hi David,

You are right -- I think it is better to import the sub-projects
separately. I've now updated the source to point to:

https://quantlib.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/quantlib/trunk/QuantLib

Thanks,
Bojan
