What status to set for blueprints we wont implement?

Asked by Alex

Hey,

Some times people register blueprints that we wont be implemented, I'm wondering what status should I give this? Not very clear IMO, the ones I thought they may be result in a 'This blueprint is now considered complete' which isn't right.

Hi Alex,

You can set the priority of such specifications to "Not", which indicates that you don't plan on implementing it. It would be incorrect to mark the blueprint as complete, since it obviously isn't.

Ok, however what do I put for the 'Definition Status'? There is nothing like 'Wont Implement' at all for it.

Probably obsolete. The description of that status is:

The specification has been obsoleted, probably because it was decided
against. People should not put any effort into implementing it.
