Please help me clean up SSO mess with my account

Asked by Steve McIntyre

I'm affected by https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/881019 which is getting in the way of me using Summit effectively. William Grant suggested I ask here for help in terms of fixing things up. I apparently have four separate SSO accounts connected to my account, which is a surprise to me - I only need one that works for my Linaro work - Summit, wiki.linaro.org etc.

Please help!

I'm on IRC as SteveMcIntyre (Freenode) or Sledge (oftc)

We've merged your old duplicate SSO accounts into your primary one, and reset your LP OpenID identifier mappings. You'll need to log out and back into Launchpad to finish repairing the links, after which Summit should pick up the change on its next update run.

Hi William,

Summit still insists I'm steve-mcintyre2 rather than steve-mcintyre (note the "2" appended). This means I'm still seeing problems: steve-mcintyre is the user that is resgistered for Linaro Connect etc. Is this likely to fix itself, or does it need further work and if so, can you help please?

Thanks

This was fixed by update-openids -u steve-mcintyre in Summit.. This is a related but different issue with the multi-SSO issues.

The Summit devs have hopefully deconfused it -- can you try again?
