Changelog file

Asked by Grant Taylor

Still having problems, this is the message I'm getting via email:

Rejected:
Unable to find distroseries: unstable
Further error processing not possible because of a critical previous error.

Far as I can tell it has something to do with a changelog file. Where do I find this file and how do I edit it?

No matter what I do at this end I still get this message coming back

The changelog can be found at debian/changelog in the source package. You'll find 'unstable' in the first line -- that needs to be an Ubuntu series, such as 'precise'.

You need to rebuild the source package after altering the changelog. The generated .changes file (the one you pass to dput) has to say 'Distribution: precise'.

Again I got this message:

Rejected:
Unable to find distroseries: unstable
Further error processing not possible because of a critical previous error.

1/ I edited the changelog file and opened Gambas, then I made a installation package

2/ I used debsign -k to make it signed

3/ Then used dput to upload files

4/ Got back via email Rejected:

What am I doing wrong?

Gambas may well be overwriting the changelog when you tell it to build.

Can you help with this problem?
