missing kill button for zombie builds

Asked by Assaf Paz

https://launchpad.net/~damagedspline/+archive/waze-qt : build has failed according to a mail I have recieved, yet on the launchpad they marked as still building. You should add a button to force a kill.

btw, i still dont understand why the build has failed as the 'build finished successfully' according to the log.

Could you forward the email to <email address hidden> so I can see exactly what's gone wrong?

i accidentally erased the mail, since issue is easily reproducible, i will reupload the sources tonight and forward the log.

Update: I have upload a new source with the only difference of changing the Architecture field (debian/control) to all from any.
Package was accepted, but this time no "Failed" was accepted.

This build seems to be stuck as well - see https://launchpad.net/~damagedspline/+archive/waze-qt/+build/3458252

Your package is buggy in a very strange way -- it says it's version 0.0.8-6, but builds a changes file with version 0.0.8. This is a situation we've never seen before, so the builders don't handle the failure gracefully. That's bug #993642.

I suggest you have a read of <http://developer.ubuntu.com/packaging/html/>. It looks like you've manually built your source package rather than using tools that easily produce a correct one. I've cancelled all the existing builds, but please don't upload again until it's producing the right version.

Can you help with this problem?
