As the discussion with jtv in #launchpad-ops points out this is not a webops task. An LP dev needs to coordinate as gnuoy pointed out

According to slangasek this has been done. We re-enabled the following cron

# cjwatson: initialising quantal (third time's the charm)
#03,33 * * * * /srv/launchpad.net/production/launchpad/cronscripts/publish-ftpmaster.py -v -d ubuntu >> /srv/launchpad.net/production-logs/lp_publish/publish-ftpmaster.log 2>&1

Um, no, that cron job had nothing to do with translations. Please see the discussion on #launchpad-ops a little after 0900 UTC today between czajkowski and jtv.

I'm working on this, coordinating with webops as needed.

We've had starts and stops with this, but have been working on it. Had a data issue last time, but I have the script I need to clean that up and am just making a last pass through cron jobs to make sure I know everything to disable. Best case, I'll make another try at this in my evening tonight; worst case, I'll turn to it again in my morning tomorrow.

Hi Deryck,

How can I best help with this?

My Best,

Dan

Changing the status back to open, since this is not resolved yet. And thanks, Dan, for the offer, but I think it's only something I need to take care of.

This has been taken care of by the Maintenance squad.

Thanks. (Still needs David Planella to do some work on the Ubuntu side, as discussed on IRC.)
