Why does the code import continuesly fail?

The code import from google code to
https://code.launchpad.net/~pythonxy/spyderlib/trunk
always fails:

What is wrong here?

Mercurial imports are still experimental, and there are various bugs open around them. At the moment close to 30% of all Mercurial imports fails for one reason or another.

Launchpad doesn't do a very good job of displaying this at the moment (see bug 889530).

If it is possible, I would recommend trying to import from Bazaar, SVN or Git. The importers for those version control systems are a lot more mature and reliable.

Do you have any suggestion how the project could get the code into LP by other tools etc. without migrating to git/bzr?
