Signon to launchpad links to wrong user account

Asked by Andres Mejia on 2012-03-15

When I login to launchpad, I expect to be logged into the account 'amejia1'. Instead I'm logged into 'mcitadel'.

Please help. I want to keep the 'amejia1' account as it contains my gpg key, ssh keys, and all the teams I am a member of.

I have deactivated the other account for you now.

It didn't work, launchpad still thinks https://launchpad.net/~mcitadel is my account.

Can you provide both sets of sso tokens as they are both going to have to be deleted

Your primary email address on login.ubuntu.com needs to match an email address on your Launchpad account. It looks like you removed one of your Gmail addresses from your Launchpad account, so when you next logged in a new account was created.

I would suggest setting your primary address on login.ubuntu.com to your @xbmc.org address and logging out and in, which should get you logged in as amejia1. Then you can merge mcitadel into amejia1 at <https://launchpad.net/people/+requestmerge>, and you can set your login.ubuntu.com address back.
