I've tried, but have not yet been able to complete a full import due to problems connecting to the server.

I can try again a few times, but another approach if it doesn't work is to do the initial import from a repository dump.

Hi Michael,

Thanks for giving it a try. I don't think the server is completely dead
since I was able to check out the branch using subversion OK.

I did find that there also is a problem importing another project hosted
by scipy.org :

https://launchpad.net/scipy/trunk

So it sounds like there is something about their server configuration
that is preventing the imports completing. It would be great if you
could try the import from a repository dump.

It is sometimes the case that connectivity to a certain site is just
unreliable enough to stall cscvs. Can you help us by requesting from
them a dump of their repository?
