translations

how can i start translating to launchpad? I'm a brazilian, and i can translate from english to brazilian portuguese, i really want to help, but i don't know how to start translating, i need download source-code and translate it? or what? please help me so i can help launchpad community.

Launchpad isn't translatable at present, if you would like to get involved in your community and in translations why not talk to the people in the Ubuntu LoCo http://loco.ubuntu.com/teams/ubuntu-br
