Incorrect OpenID being passed to 3'rd party systems

Asked by John Griffith

My Launchpad account has previously been merged from two accounts and
due to bug 881019 the wrong OpenID is being passed to third party
systems. The OpenID that is listed on my Launchpad home page is:

https://login.launchpad.net/+id/KEDWDGw

However the one that is being passed when I authenticate is:

https://login.launchpad.net/+id/MCEWrxe

Would you please delete the invalid OpenID (MCEWrxe) so that only the one correctly
listed on my home page is passed?

Thanks!

Well unfortunately I'm still having the same problem. Also attempting to go top the id links both still seem to exist and be valid. Not sure what do do next.

Thanks!

Next thing is for you to log out of Launchpad, and log in again using your *other* email address (you have two registered in Launchpad). I then may need need to reset things again.

(I think you have two accounts on the login.launchpad.net/login.ubuntu.com authentication service, and after the previous reset the incorrect one was linked to your Launchpad profile).

Ok, I've logged out on all machines and logged back in using <email address hidden>. The solidfire account is the most recent and the one that I merged.

The openid identifier listed on your Launchpad home page is now the MCEWrxe one, which is also the only one that Launchpad currently knows about for you. This should match any identifiers expected by other systems if you log into them using the @solidfire.com email address.

Can you help with this problem?
