Bugs' Advanced Search Options: Search only a particular project

Asked by Jinx Dojo on 2011-10-24

I've yet to actually file reports for multiple projects, but I've noticed that the "personal bugs" page ("https://bugs.launchpad.net/~jinxdojo") lacks the ability to sort by the "In" (project name) column, or even search particular projects in the advanced search options.

I haven't yet made a lot of reports for fear it would become to unruly to manage them all. Having the ability to sort by project would be very helpful.

It's of course possible that I am blind, in which case, could you please direct me on how to do this? My apologies if that is the case. Thank you,

Jinx Dojo

+1 ;-)

I agree. On most days, I think to myself twice or three times how nice it would be if I could filter my bug search results for Launchpad users such as myself and others by project (and in the case of distributions, by source package within the project). If there is a way to do this, I certainly haven't noticed it. If there is not, then perhaps a feature request bug should be filed against Launchpad itself, if one has not been already. Is there any reason this feature is not present?

It's not possible yet I think, but this is part of the ongoing work on bug listings, see https://dev.launchpad.net/LEP/CustomBugListings.

Can you help with this problem?
