Series unavailable in bug affecting multiple projects?

I don't see a way to target this bug
https://bugs.launchpad.net/maria/+bug/860910 to both 5.1 and 5.5 series
in the Percona Server project. There's just no "Target to series" link that I see in other bugs.

Is this because Percona Server is not the "main" project affected by the
bug (or whatever the yellow background means, it's currently on the
Maria project). Any ideas how to rectify that other than refile the bug
under the Percona Server project?

It's probably because "Percona Server" is indeed not the main project for this bug.
Could you try to see if you have the "Target to series" link on this page https://bugs.launchpad.net/percona-server/+bug/860910 (which is the same bug but for in Percona Server project's context).
This is a bug and I've filed https://bugs.launchpad.net/launchpad/+bug/874009.
