how to manually set bug status to Expired using email

Hello,
I need to set bug's status to 'Expired' by email and couldn't find any information. Can someone help please.

We don't use the "Expired" status. See https://help.launchpad.net/Bugs/EmailInterface#status for a list of valid statuses.

You should be able to use "expired" as an argument to the "status" command, although it's not mentioned in the link that Aaron provided.
