package search timeouts

Over the past few weeks, I've been getting a lot of timeout errors when searching for Ubuntu packages at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu (typing the package name or search term into the text box and clicking "Find a Package"). For significant stretches of time (hours), all my searches timeout and package search is completely nonfunctional (for me) as a result. Most recently: OOPS-2032K32.

Is this due to recent maintenance? If not, should I report this as a bug?

Yes, please convert this question to a bug report by clicking on the "Create bug report" link on this page.

Most package searches were very speedy for me just now but searching for your string "linux-tools-common" resulted in a timeout.
