[spam report] question 163633 comment spam, Xavier Dymanz's account hijacked

Asked by Eliah Kagan

The user Xavier Dymanz (https://launchpad.net/~xavier-dymanz) was a legitimate user of Launchpad, but his account was apparently hijacked recently. The comment he posted about 14 hours ago in https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/compiz/+question/163633 (post #2) was spam.

The immediately subsequent post (post #3) quotes post #2 in its entirety, and does so in such a way as to suggest that the link might pertain to some technical support issue. Therefore, perhaps this post should be hidden/deleted or edited as well. (However, there is no reason to think that the user who posted post #3 is a spammer or has a hijacked account.)

There are no posts by Xavier Dymanz on https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/grub2/+bug/761830

Did you mistype the URL?

I apologize. I did paste the wrong URL. In fact, no bug page is involved here. The question page that contains the spam is https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/compiz/+question/163633. (I am also editing this question description, to reflect this.)
