Cleaning PPA - urgent please

Asked by Vaclav Pavek

Good day,
i have a repository ppa:vpavek/esmska. This repository was testing.

I deleted the repository with the idea that it will set back from the start to use again.

You can delete the repository including a package so I can Recreate it? Or Undeleted it? Thank you

It is not possible to re-use the name of a PPA which has been deleted.

This may change in the future, but not soon.

You will have to create a PPA with a different name, instead.

Hi Max,

There is a way you can undelete your PPA. Simply go to https://launchpad.net/~%3Cusername%3E/+archive/%3Cppaname%3E/+edit with replacing it with your details. Thank you Giles Bathgate (https://launchpad.net/~gilesbathgate) with posting it on the last answer on https://answers.launchpad.net/launchpad/+question/114852

That method is not supposed to work, and does not constitute supported Launchpad behaviour, though.

Max,

Yes I know that but that way is better then any thing else Launchpad can do to help, but at the moment this is the only way to undelete a PPA.

Can you help with this problem?
