Automatic import of libravatar templates working for pot files but not po files

I've organised my bzr branch according to the documentation, but it seems like the automatic import only works for the .pot file, not for the .po files.

Currently my file layout looks like this:

  po/libravatar/libravatar.pot
  po/libravatar/de.po
  po/libravatar/fr.po

but it looks like the auto-approver isn't picking it up and that someone has to manually review my po files whenever they change (because it takes a day or two usually).

Should I change the layout?

I can't see any files in the import queue anymore so I assume the problem has been resolved. The problem with translations not being imported (when templates are) is usually due to one (or more) of the following:
 1. translations are not in the same directory as the corresponding templates
 2. they are not named directly with language codes

Eg. the following file/directory structure works, anything else might and might not:

 template1/template1.pot
 template1/fr.po
 template1/de.po
 ...
 template2/template2.pot
 template2/fr.po
 ...
